Email Etiquette 

• Most of our members are busy activists; so please don't use this e-group for idle thoughts or general "chatter."
  
  
• Be respectful of other members, tho of course you are entitled to disagree with another's opinion.
  
  
• When replying to the group, snip any extraneous content from the original email that  is not necessary; leave just enough original text so that other (or new) members understand what you are replying to. Definitely strip yahoo related ad info that appears at the bottom.
  
  
• If you start a new thread, take the time to write a subject line that clearly indicates what your email is about. When you reply to an email, DO NOT change the subject line.
  
  
• If you opt for daily digest delivery, be sure to change the subject line of the email, and snip all but the post/content  you are replying to. 
  
  
• Be judicious with the reply button! In fact sometimes it may be more appropriate to reply to the sender privately, rather than to the group.
  
  
• Signature lines are fine, but please restrict them to no more than 3 or 4 lines. And no plugs, please. :-)
