Delegations to Palestine

Page in progress
Several organizations send delegations to Palestine. We will continue to post all those we know of.

  • Free Gaza
Scroll down to Come Aboard; it may be possible for you to have one of the remaining places onboard the Break the Siege. At the bottom of the page, there's more info under Volunteer in Palestine.

  • FOR delegation to Israel and Palestine
The Fellowship of Reconciliation conducts regular delegations to Israel and Palestine, and sometimes Jordan. Delegates meet with a wide variety of Palestinians and Israelis, including activists on both sides. They visit holy sites and learn about the history of the region and its conflict.  Find out more about Interfaith Peace-Builders delegations to Israel and Palestine.

  • AFSC - Yearly Palestinian Olive Harvest - a trip is planned for November, 2005!
"The annual olive harvest is a symbol of life for Palestinian communities, an affirmation of their historical, economic and spiritual connection to the land -- and a rejection of Israeli efforts to seize that land.

Volunteers are being called from around the globe to stay in Palestinian homes in West Bank communities and accompany Palestinians to their olive groves to help with the harvest. In the past, the presence of internationals during harvest time has helped decrease instances of settler and soldier harassment of Palestinian farmers and their families -- and has lessened the severity of attacks when they do occur. Internationals serve as witnesses, documenting and exposing the conditions under which Palestinians struggle to survive and maintain their culture.

In addition to olive harvest, volunteers will likely have the opportunity to join Palestinians in nonviolent protests throughout the West Bank against the construction of settlements, settlement roads, and the Annexation Barrier.

A Boston-based activist group hopes to send a delegation to Palestine to participate, for 2 to 3 weeks, in this season's olive harvest, with an approximate timeframe of November 5th - 25th.

For more information or to request an application contact:

. We will be conducting in-person interviews and will notify applicants of their acceptance as soon as possible."
